O salário que realmente espanta é o da apresentadora Oprah Winfrey, que fatura US$315 milhões por ano. Entre as séries de drama, Hugh Laurie possui o pagamento mais alto, recebendo mais de US$400 mil por episódio. Já entre as de comédia, o sempre problemático Charlie Sheen recebe US$1,25 milhão por episódio. Colega de Sheen em Two and a Half Men, Jon Cryer fatura US$550 mil por episódio.
Olhando por outro lado, Jim Parsons (Sheldon de The Big Bang Theory) possui um salário “baixo” — US$40 mil/episódio — e é superado inclusive por seus colegas de elenco Kaley Cuoco e Johnny Galecki (US$60 mil/episódio cada). Para quem não sabe, o trio protagonista do seriado continua sem contrato para a quarta temporada, pois ainda está discutindo valores.
